New Years

It's traditional to head to a shrine or temple once the new year has arrived.
We went to Hachimangu in Kamakura--along with 100000000000 other people.

The little man watches a children's music show most evenings. But on this occasion, he decided to set up his drums and chair (it squeaks) so he could participate:

In the middle of the city there is a large hill of green surrounded by tiny plots of land divided for farming. On a nice warm day, we visited and saw a few old men and women harvesting some autumn vegetables.
